It’s February 1st! Valentines Day is only a couple days away… make your dinner reservations early, travel arrangements now, and buy your cards before all the good ones are taken. Even consider a romantic, yet inexpensive getaway on the train. Last year my boyfriend and I escaped on the Coast Starlight to Avila Beach. It kind of felt like we were taking a step back in time. I just peeked through these pictures again today… thought you might enjoy them as well. Happy February!

My once favorite online magazine, Kinfolk, is now exclusively in print! I’ve definitely enjoyed the convenience of the new online magazine phenomenon… however nothing really beats the experience of flipping through the pages of a magazine. I’m definitely going to sign up for their annual subscription with quarterly deliveries. Check out their stockists… you might even be able to pick it up at a local retailer near you!
Well… I’m getting on schedule for 2012 (sort of)! I finally have a new calendar up so I can officially declare that 2012 has arrived. In 2011 I had a lovely calendar from SeeSaw Designs, but this year they aren’t releasing anything new from their studio (quite bummed). I really enjoyed being able to see the entire year in a quick glance to the right of my desk, so it took some time to search for the perfect replacement. Paper-Source has a simple DIY desk calendar that I decided to not do anything to… I like the simplicity of it! I just found a couple matching pins and placed it on the wall. Welcome 2012!
